2018 - The Best Bits!

I can’t quite believe 2018 is done and dusted, it was quite some year! I travelled all over the UK, in sun, snow and everything in between, and got to witness so many wonderful people tying the knot. I cannot thank all my amazing couples enough for inviting me to be a part of your incredible wedding celebrations, it’s been a pleasure meeting every last one of you! Also, I must give a humungous shout out to all the fabulous suppliers I’ve worked with throughout the year, you all deserve huge credit for making 2018 such an awesome year, and for providing me with lots of lovely things to photograph! 2019 is shaping up to be another year of fun filled adventures, I can’t wait to get cracking!

Here’s a list of just a few of the wonderful suppliers and venues I’ve worked with and would highly recommend (it would be almost impossible to name them all!) Cambo Estate, Little Botanica, Myrtle & Bracken, Pin-up Hair, Three Sisters Bake, Barras Art and Design, Cat Robertson Make-Up, West On the Green, Victoria Hall Saltaire, Wild Rover Food, Windmill Barn, Pamper & Polish. Lemon Box Studios, Applewood Weddings.

Kirsty & Marko

My oh my what a day this was! Kirsty & Marko threw the rule book straight out the window to throw the mother of all parties! They both looked incredible in their 60's inspired attire, Kirsty wearing a one-of-a-kind mini dress, and killer vintage heels, whilst Marko (not to be outshone!) rocked a truly amazing custom made velvet William Morris print Jacket. Kirkstall Abbey in Leeds played to host to a magical ceremony, with a selection of wonderful readings and music including a spoken word rendition of one of my favourite tunes - David Bowie's Moonage Daydream. This was followed by a cracking reception at The Faversham, topped off with fabulous tunes from the brilliantly named Creedence Clearwater Revival Revival! Here's Kirsty and Marko's wedding bonanza - Enjoy!

Sarah & Eddy

Sarah & Eddy's amazing DIY wedding was bursting at the seams with character and charm! From the incredible homemade Origami flowers (which must have taken the patience of a saint to make!) to the delicious home-brewed beer (which I know was delicious as I sampled some later that evening!), they really had thought of everything! There was a real sense of family and friendship throughout the day, none more so during a rabble rousing rendition of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" in memory of Sarah's mum. A truly wonderful day spent with the loveliest of people. Here's Sarah & Eddy's wedding bonanza...!

Jasmine & Phil

On a beautiful Saturday in June, Jasmine and Phil (honestly, these two are made for one another!) tied the knot in an emotional ceremony in the stunning grounds of Dalduff Farm. It was an absolute pleasure to be part of their amazing day. I loved all the personal touches, Jasmine’s stunning vintage inspired wedding dress with a lovely headdress from Artisan Dried Flower Shop, the DIY table decorations and of course their own personalised wedding beer by Peerless Brewing! Last but certainly not least, the amazing wedding cake made by no other than the groom himself! The day had a wonderful warm, laid back feel to it, and I couldn't have felt more welcome amongst Jasmine and Phil's lovely family and friends. This truly was a wedding after my own heart - Phil & Jasmine chapeau!
